About this interfacing

Vlieseline H250 fusible interfacing is a firm, fusible nonwoven in 60% polyester and 40% cellulose, 62 g/m² and 90 cm wide. It provides a clearly defined shape and firmness where a lightweight interfacing is not sufficient.

H250 is used for shaped waistbands, belts, collars and sleeve hems in medium to heavy fabrics, and it is one of the most widely used interfacings for hobby projects, e.g. baskets, boxes and small bags. Available in white and graphite (dark grey). Choose white under light fabrics and graphite under dark fabrics so the interfacing does not show through.

How to fuse it: place the adhesive side against the wrong side of the fabric and fuse dry, without a damp pressing cloth, on medium heat. Press the iron down for approx. 8 seconds per area without moving it back and forth. Let the piece cool before continuing to sew.

The interfacing withstands washing at 60°C and dry cleaning. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying.
