About this interfacing

Vlieseline G785 is a very lightweight, woven fusible interfacing in 100% polyester, 30 g/m² and 90 cm wide. It is elastic in both directions and feels soft and comfortable in the finished garment.

G785 is used for small parts in blouses and dresses and for front pieces in stretch jackets. It suits lightweight, sheer and delicate fabrics, and it bonds well on difficult qualities such as viscose, acetate, cupro and coated fabrics. Available in off-white, skin tone and black.

How to fuse it: always cut the interfacing lengthwise, along the grain. Place the adhesive side to the wrong side of the fabric, and first tack it in a few places at low heat so it does not shift. Then cover with a damp cloth and fuse thoroughly area by area for 8 to 15 seconds without moving the iron. Leave the pieces flat for approx. 30 minutes before you continue sewing.

The interfacing withstands washing at 30 degrees on a delicate programme and dry cleaning. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying.
