About this interfacing

Vlieseline G700 is a fusible interfacing woven in 100% cotton, 90 g/m² and 90 cm wide. Because it is woven and made from cotton, it behaves like the surrounding fabric and provides firm, natural support.

G700 is used for small parts such as collars, sleeve hems and plackets on shirts and blouses in medium-lightweight fabrics, and for patchwork and quilting where cotton fabric needs more body. A woven interfacing has grain direction, so cut it in the same direction as the outer fabric.

How to fuse it: place the adhesive side against the wrong side of the fabric, cover with a damp pressing cloth, and press the iron down on high heat (cotton) for approx. 12 seconds per area. Lift the iron and move it. Let the piece cool before continuing to sew.

The interfacing withstands washing at 60°C and dry cleaning. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying.
