About this interfacing

Vlieseline F220 iron-on interfacing is a lightweight nonwoven in 100% recycled polyester, 43 g/m² and 90 cm wide. It is a versatile standard type that most people keep next to the sewing machine.

F220 is used for small parts in garments, e.g. collars, waistbands and plackets, and for hobby and needlework in lightweight fabrics. It provides light support, feels comfortable in the finished garment and tolerates washing at high temperatures. Available in white and graphite (dark grey). Choose white under light fabrics and graphite under dark ones, so the interfacing does not show through.

How to iron it on: place the adhesive side against the wrong side of the fabric, cover with a damp cloth, and press the iron down at medium heat for approx. 12 seconds per area. Lift the iron and move it so the interfacing does not shift. Let the piece cool before sewing further.

The interfacing tolerates washing at 60 degrees and dry cleaning. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying.
