Bordeaux/terra has a warm, deep colour that works well in both core collections and smaller ranges with more muted shades. The viscose fibre provides a soft touch and a beautiful drape, while the lycra content adds elasticity and good freedom of movement in finished garments.

The quality is often used for blouses, dresses, skirts and lightweight trousers when you want a soft knit fabric with more drape than classic cotton jersey. It is also suitable for women’s and men’s apparel where the colour should be calm but still clearly present in the assortment.

The single jersey knit makes the fabric supple and comfortable to work with in production. Viscose jersey drapes more softly than cotton jersey and gives a smoother look in finished styles. The colour is suitable as a seasonal shade, but can also be used year-round in core programmes.

Fabric shops and smaller clothing manufacturers often choose viscose jersey as a supplement to cotton jersey because the quality offers a different drape and hand feel. The 145 cm width makes it easy to calculate consumption for both short runs and ongoing production. Supplied as a stock item when available.

Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying so stretch and colour remain consistent from wash to wash.
