10 OZ Slub denim with stretch – Dark jeans (Fleece backing) is a woven denim in 83% cotton, 15% polyester and 2% elastane with a fleece backing in 100% polyester, 450 g/m² and 135 cm wide.

Specifications:

– Material: 83% cotton, 15% polyester, 2% elastane

– Backing: 100% polyester (fleece)

– Weight: 450 g/m²

– Width: 135 cm

– Construction: Woven denim (slub) with stretch

The dark jeans colour provides a calmer, more classic look than light denim. The slub yarn still creates visible texture in the surface, so the colour does not appear flat. The combination of stretch and fleece backing makes this quality ideal for jeans, trousers, skirts and shorter jackets where wearing comfort matters, and where a warm reverse side adds extra value in season.

The construction is suitable when you want to offer denim that feels warm without becoming too heavy. The 450 g/m² weight delivers a stable look and good coverage, which can be an advantage in dark core collections where fit and lines need to stay sharp.

Fabric shops often order dark denim as a permanent stock item because the colour returns year after year. Manufacturers use it for small-to-medium runs where stretch reduces the risk of complaints about mobility. Search terms such as buy fabric wholesale and fabric wholesale suppliers typically focus on finding a supplier with consistent deliveries and fast reordering. This makes it relevant for denim fabric wholesale and stretch denim fabric programmes.

Wash at 30 degrees with the wrong side out. Avoid tumble drying. Consider pre-washing if you work with very precise measurements in production.
