Jungle green upholstery velour gives sofas and chairs a soft velour surface, and the felt backing keeps the fabric stable when it is pulled over a frame. 100% polyester, 350 g/m², 142 cm wide.

Specifications:

– Material: 100% polyester

– Weight: 350 g/m²

– Width: 142 cm

– Abrasion resistance: 125,000 Martindale

– Backing: felt (not velour)

– Certification: OEKO-TEX Standard 100

– Roll: 50 m

Jungle green is a very dark green that looks almost black in low light and shows its green tone in daylight. It is more blue-green than dark moss green. We suggest it for armchairs and benches. It goes well with brass and dark wood in rooms with dark walls.

The felt backing makes the fabric stable and easy to staple, so it holds its shape on seats, backs and arms. The thinner velour without felt suits cushions and sewn items better, while this quality is the one we recommend for actual upholstery.

Like all velour, the fabric shows a slight shading effect when the pile is brushed in different directions. Lay all pattern pieces with the pile in the same direction when cutting, so a sofa or a headboard gets the same shade everywhere.

125,000 Martindale makes the velour suitable for both home furniture and contract seating used many hours a day.

The quality is ordered by upholsterers, furniture makers and fabric shops that need a velour they can reorder in the same colour. All colours share the same weight and width, so they can be combined in one project. Dark and strong colours can transfer to light fabrics, especially when damp, so keep that in mind if the velour will sit against light cushions or throws.

Keep the surface clean with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner. Blot spills with a damp white cloth, and test any cleaning on a hidden spot first.

Find more colours under furniture velour, and see other surfaces for upholstery under upholstery fabric.

The images are visualisations, and the colour may differ slightly.
