Stretch corduroy – Grey blue is a woven wide-wale corduroy in 98% cotton and 2% elastane, 282 g/m² and 142 cm wide.

Specifications: The wide wales create a clear structure and a calm colour play, which suits collections where you want more depth than in smooth fabrics by the metre. The stretch makes the quality easier to work with for fit and gives better freedom of movement in garments, especially when corduroy is used for more close-fitting cuts.

Grey blue corduroy is often used for trousers, overshirts, skirts and jackets when you want a classic surface with some body without the fabric becoming too heavy. The colour works as an alternative to classic grey and navy, and it is suitable when you build base colours for womenswear and menswear.

For purchasing, it is relevant to know that corduroy typically changes appearance with the pile direction. Therefore cut all pieces in the same direction to avoid visible shade differences in finished styles. Many customers also ask how to buy fabric wholesale. With us, you order as standard from 10 metres, so you can test a colour in production or bring it in as a new arrival in the shop.

Wash at 30 degrees and preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve the pile and stretch.
