Dusty Brown is woven double gauze in 100% cotton, 130 g/m² and 135 cm wide. The dusty brown shade is warm and grounded with a matte, natural surface.

Specifications:

Double gauze is two thin layers of gauze joined together, creating air between the layers. This gives a soft drape and a light, crinkled texture typical of muslin. The fabric feels cool against the skin and becomes softer with every wash.

Dusty Brown is used for loose shirts, summer dresses, tunics and babywear. The grounded tone is easy to combine with warm and neutral colours and suits both childrenswear and womenswear. The airy weave makes the fabric cool and breathable in warm weather.

The colour is consistent from roll to roll, so lengths can be sewn together without visible shifts. Dusty Brown is ordered by clothing manufacturers, fabric shops and hobby sewists who work with a natural, earthy summer palette. The warm tone is easy to resell by the metre alongside beige, cognac and green shades within the same palette. Consistent width makes fabric consumption easy to plan, and many keep the colour in stock for the entire summer production. Stock item and ready for dispatch.

Wash at 30 degrees with the wrong side out. Pre-washing is recommended, as double gauze shrinks slightly the first few times. Avoid tumble drying and hang to dry.

Combine with a lighter neutral from our gauze collection for contrast and trims.

Order from 1m – delivery 1–3 business days in Scandinavia.
