Beige is a woven double gauze in 100% cotton, 130 g/m² and 135 cm wide. The warm, natural beige is a calm basic shade that matches virtually all colours.

Specifications:

The construction is two thin layers of gauze tacked together, making the fabric airy with a soft drape. The surface has a light, crinkled texture typical of muslin, and the fabric becomes softer with every wash.

Beige is used for baby swaddles, summer dresses, loose shirts and lightweight babywear from size 50 and up. The neutral tone suits both childrenswear and womenswear and makes it easy to build an entire collection around it. The airy weave makes the fabric cool and breathable in warm weather.

A base colour like Beige is often ordered by clothing manufacturers and fabric shops that need a neutral foundation that matches many colourways. Hobby sewists choose it for baby swaddles, dresses and shirts where a warm, calm tone is an advantage. Consistent width and even colour from roll to roll make fabric consumption easy to plan in production. Many keep it in stock all year because it is easy to resell by the metre. Stock item and ready for dispatch.

Wash at 30 degrees. Pre-washing is recommended, as double gauze shrinks slightly the first few times. Avoid tumble drying and hang to dry.

Pair with multiple shades from our gauze collection for colour blocking and lining.

Order from 1m – delivery 1–3 business days in Scandinavia.
