Dusty Lilac is woven double gauze in 100% cotton, 130 g/m² and 135 cm wide.

Specifications:

The dusty lilac is soft and muted with a calm, feminine look. Double gauze is two thin layers of gauze stitched together, making the fabric airy and lightweight with a characteristic crinkled texture. The surface has a naturally matte sheen that suits the muted tone. The light weight makes the fabric comfortable to wear on a warm day.

Muslin is used for summer dresses, tunics, loose shirts and girlswear. The soft drape makes the fabric comfortable to sew with, and it becomes softer with every wash without losing its light texture. The crinkled surface does not need to be pressed smooth.

Dusty Lilac is ordered by fabric shops and hobby sewists who sew lightweight summer qualities in muted colours. Stock item – ready to ship. The shade combines easily with warm neutrals and off-white tones, and it looks calm next to stronger colours.

The muted lilac works well for light girlswear and calm spring styles where the fabric should drape lightly and look soft and subdued without drawing attention away from the rest.

Wash at 30°C. Pre-washing is recommended, as double gauze shrinks slightly the first few times. Avoid tumble drying – hang to dry.

Pair with a light neutral from our gauze collection for lining and details.

Order from 1m – delivery 1–3 business days in Scandinavia.
