Dusty Rose is a woven double gauze in 100% cotton, 130 g/m² and 135 cm wide. The dusty rose shade is soft and muted and suits a calm summer range.

Specifications:

Two thin layers of gauze tacked together give the fabric air and a light, crinkled texture. The characteristic surface becomes more pronounced after washing and is typical of muslin. The fabric becomes softer with every wash while keeping its light texture, and the crinkled surface means garments do not need ironing after use.

Used for babywear, summer dresses, scarves and loose tunics. The dusty rose shade suits both girlswear and womenswear and pairs easily with warm earth tones. The low weight makes the fabric suitable for layered styles and lightweight dresses with good movement, and the soft surface makes it comfortable directly against the skin.

Dusty Rose is ordered by hobby sewists and smaller clothing producers who sew in lightweight summer qualities. Stock item – ready for dispatch. The soft shade is stable in the range year-round, and the 135 cm width provides good yield when cutting. The colour is a calm base that can carry an entire collection or work as a soft accent in a light colour scheme.

Wash at 30 degrees. Pre-washing is recommended, as double gauze shrinks slightly the first few times. Avoid tumble drying – hang to dry.

Combine with a warm neutral from our gauze collection for colour blocking.

Order from 1m – delivery 1–3 business days in Scandinavia.
