Circular knit rib is often used for rib trims, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, bodysuits and tops when you want an edge that works with the garment and holds its shape. Bright royal blue adds a clear colour accent in collections for both childrenswear and classic apparel, and also works as contrast against darker qualities.

The colour is developed for stable purchasing where consistency from roll to roll is important. This makes the rib relevant as a standard item for production where the same shade must be reorderable without visible jumps. If you often get the question “what is circular knit rib”, you can describe it simply: rib is an elastic knit with a rib structure, typically used for edges and finishes because it draws in neatly.

Fabric shops and smaller clothing manufacturers typically order rib jersey fabrics by the metre as a supplement to solid-colour and printed jersey bases. Stocking core colours makes planning easier and enables fast reordering.

Wash at 30°C, inside out. Avoid tumble drying to maintain elasticity.

Combine with matching basics in Solid colour jersey or use it as contrast to prints from Jersey print.
