Dark brown is a classic choice when you want a deep basic colour that can sell year-round. The colour is often used for T-shirts, tops, leggings and simple dresses, where a darker look is an advantage in the range. Many combine dark brown with natural tones, beige and grey for a calm, Scandinavian colour palette.

Single jersey knit in cotton/lycra provides an even surface and a stable quality for everyday use. The 220 g/m² weight gives good body and helps garments keep a neat shape. The lycra supports the stretch so the material does not lose its recovery from wash to wash.

Fabric shops typically buy dark solid colours as stock items because they match both digital print jersey and classic colours within the same collection. The colour is intended to be uniform from roll to roll, making it easier to maintain the same look when reordering.

Wash at 30 degrees and preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying, and recommend air drying in production to minimise unnecessary wear.

Combine with rib for edges from Rib if you want a firm finish on necklines and sleeves.
