The melange khaki tone is consistent from roll to roll – no visible shade changes between dye lots. The colour pairs well with neutral and warm jersey qualities and delivers a classic, military-inspired look. Used for rib cuffs and necklines on sweatshirts and hoodies, sleeve finishes on unisex jackets and performance tops, hems on childrenswear, and as a subtle contrast stripe on olive, brown and natural cotton jersey.

Khaki Melange is breathable – the structure of the cotton fibres and the loose tubular knit allow moisture transport away from the body, making this ribbing fabric suitable for activewear and close-fitting silhouettes. The tubular construction requires no additional edge seam and provides cutting options from 3 to 8 cm cuff width directly from the roll. The melange structure gives the colour a lively, textured surface rather than a flat, solid colour tone.

Garment manufacturers, fabric shops and home sewists choose Khaki Melange as a standard component that works across colour groups – khaki sits close to brown and olive and matches both. The Oeko-Tex 100 certification supports documentation requirements from European retail customers. Stock item with short lead time – ready for dispatch the same business day when ordered before 12:00.

Wash at 30°C, inside out. Avoid tumble drying – tubular rib knit construction retains its shape best when line dried. Iron on the reverse at medium heat.

Combine with solid colour jersey in a matching or contrasting shade – or use the rib as a hem band for hoodies from the rib range.
