Dark Navy is a deep blue core colour, often used in both kids ranges and classic clothing for adults. The ribbed structure provides good stretch and helps edges keep their shape when garments are worn and washed repeatedly. This quality is especially suitable for rib trims, necklines, sleeve finishes and hem bands on sweatshirts, cardigans, bodysuits and cotton jersey tops.

Tubular knit rib provides a stable edge with clear elasticity. The dark navy shade is a good choice when you want a colour that can be combined with grey, blue, white, beige and many printed jersey qualities. The colour works calmly in collections and is practical as a consistent stock item, because it can be used roll to roll without dominating the finished garment.

Fabric shops often order the rib as a basic item together with solid colour jersey and printed qualities. Smaller clothing producers use it for ranges where the same rib needs to work across multiple styles. The firm weight of 230 g/m² delivers a rib with body without being too heavy.

Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying to best preserve elasticity and colour.

Combine with matching or contrasting fabrics by the metre from our solid colour jersey when you want to source rib and jersey in the same purchase.
