Black rib jersey is often used for ribbing, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets and bodysuits. The colour works as a reliable base across kidswear, womenswear and menswear, where a neutral finish should pull the garment together without taking focus from the main fabric.

The rib structure provides strong stretch and returns reliably after wear. The tubular tube form makes the quality practical for production, because the rib can be cut to requirement and used for both narrow and wider bands. The black colour is consistent from roll to roll, which is important for fabric shops and clothing manufacturers who reorder the same core colour over time.

Black rib jersey is typically ordered as a stock item alongside solid colour jersey fabric, sweatshirt fabrics and printed fabric by the metre. The quality is a strong choice when purchasing needs to cover multiple collections and many colour combinations. Jydsk Stoflager is a Danish fabric wholesaler with stock in Ikast and fast delivery to customers in Scandinavia.

Wash at 30°C with the reverse side out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity and colour as well as possible.

Combine Rib Jersey – Black with core colours from solid colour jersey or use it as a contrast to printed cotton jersey.
