The sand colour works as a calm base when you build a colour card with light shades and natural tones. This rib is often used for ribbing, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, cardigans and bodysuits, where the edge needs to stretch and still keep its shape. The quality also suits simple tops and leggings when you want a rib structure with clearly defined ridges.

Tubular rib knit adds extra body at the edge because the material lies doubled in tube form. This provides a stable finish that holds wash after wash and withstands repeated stretching without going limp. The colour is consistent from roll to roll, making it easy to use for reorders and repeat runs.

Rib – Sand is often ordered by fabric shops and smaller producers who want a standard rib for core colours in their assortment. Stocked-by-the-metre fabric makes it easy to plan short deliveries and continuous replenishment.

Wash at 30 degrees, inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity.

Combine with matching fabrics from Solid colour cotton jersey for a cohesive look in collections.
