Green vichy checks are often used for shirts, lightweight dresses, childrenswear and aprons when you want a clear pattern with a calm look. The colour offers a fresh alternative to blue and red vichy and can work as an accent in a core collection.

110 g/m² makes the quality lightweight and more breathable in use. This is an advantage for styles with volume, where the garment needs to drape nicely without feeling heavy. The woven canvas also provides a stable construction that is easy to work with for repeated cutting and ensures clean lines.

A typical B2B question is what the difference is between lightweight canvas and heavier canvas. Lightweight canvas such as 110 g/m² gives less body and a lighter drape, while heavier canvas provides more structure. The choice depends on whether you want a more lightweight or a firmer style.

Fabric shops often buy vichy checks as season-independent yardage. Smaller manufacturers choose it when they want a well-tested pattern and a wholesale fabric supplier that can deliver quickly. Pattern and colour appear consistent from roll to roll.

Wash at 30–40 degrees. Pre-wash is recommended before cutting. Avoid tumble drying.
