Luxury cotton – amber yellow is woven cotton canvas fabric in 100% cotton, 140 g/m² and 145–150 cm wide.

Specifications: Amber yellow sits between yellow and orange and creates a warmer, more muted look. The shade is often used for shirts, dresses and trousers when you want a colour that still works as a base in a collection. It is also relevant for accessories such as tote bags and aprons, as well as home details like cushions, where the canvas structure provides an even, calm surface.

The canvas weave provides stability in both cutting and sewing. The quality is lightweight at 140 g/m², but the firm construction means garments keep more shape than softer fabrics. It is a good choice when you want a cleaner look in details while keeping material consumption down.

Buyers for fabric shops often bring this type in as a colour option in standard canvas fabric, because it can be sold to multiple customer segments without changing quality. Smaller producers use it for short runs and repeats, where consistent width from roll to roll makes it easy to plan lays and cutting markers. A question we often get is: What is the difference between canvas and poplin? Canvas typically has a more pronounced, firm structure, while poplin is smoother and often more shirt-like on the surface.

Wash at 30–40 degrees. Pre-washing is recommended to allow for any shrinkage. Avoid tumble drying.

See alternatives in Solid colour poplin or more core colours under Cotton canvas.

Order from 10m – delivery 1–3 business days in Scandinavia
