Dark grey melange is a stable core shade that fits both kidswear and adult ranges. The melange look adds subtle depth without making the surface feel busy, and the colour works as a standard choice for cuffs and trims across many colours and prints. Tubular rib knit is often used for ribbed cuffs, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, tops and jackets. Many also use rib jersey for complete styles such as tops and lightweight dresses when a dense rib structure with more body is required.

A common question from buyers is: What is tubular knit rib? Tubular knit rib is rib knitted as a tube, creating an even and elastic structure. It performs well on edges because it can be stretched and spring back without losing shape.

Fabric shops often choose dark grey melange for shelf assortments because it can be reordered and used across themes. Consistency from roll to roll makes it easier to maintain the same melange effect in follow-up production.

Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying.

Combine with core shades from Rib if you want to offer more neutral rib knit colours in the same quality.
