Pastel mint is a light, calm shade often used in childrenswear ranges and as a contrast to both neutral and darker colours. Tubular rib knit provides a dense rib structure with good elasticity, making it suitable when finishes need to hold their shape from wash to wash.

The rib is often used for rib trims, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, tops and bodysuits. The quality also works for tops and rib tops when you want a close fit with stretch. If your customers are looking for rib knit fabric with stretch, this type hits the classic staple that many want as a basic.

The dense rib structure provides good coverage in wear and less transparency than many lighter rib types. This makes the colour more stable in appearance, even when the rib is stretched.

Fabric shops often order cotton rib fabric wholesale in core colours, because the item is easy to keep as a permanent shelf staple and easy to combine with cotton jersey fabric. Smaller manufacturers use it for consistent finishes across styles, making purchasing and stock management simpler.

Wash at 30°C, inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity.

Match with fabrics by the metre from Solid colour jersey or see the full selection in Rib.
