Specifications:

Black poplin is used for shirts, dresses, trousers, lightweight jackets and shirt dresses. The colour pairs with all shades and patterns – making it a natural choice for collections that need a strong base colour. The fabric works for both everyday wear and more formal clothing, and the lightly structured surface holds its shape during sewing.

The poplin weave creates a subtle horizontal rib that keeps the surface smooth and gives an elegant look in finished cuts. The black shade is deep and uniform from roll to roll – no visible colour shifts, which is important for large runs with many rolls from the same collection. Oeko-Tex Class 1 is the strictest class and meets the requirements for baby items and direct skin contact.

Clothing manufacturers and fabric shops order black poplin wholesale for ongoing production, as it is a stable stock item with consistent colour quality. Reorders match previous deliveries, and delivery time is 1–3 business days in Scandinavia. Minimum order is 10 metres per colour.

Wash at 40°C, inside out. Iron while the fabric is slightly damp to maintain the sheen and precise drape. Avoid tumble drying at high heat.

Combine black poplin with white, off-white or coloured poplin from our poplin collection for coordinated and timeless ranges.

Order from 10m – delivery 1–3 business days in Scandinavia.
