Fold-over elastic with picot edge – Yellow is a stretch fold-over elastic in 85% PA, 10% PE and 5% LY, 1.2 cm wide, supplied in a pack of 25 metres.

Specifications:

– Material: 85% PA, 10% PE, 5% LY

– Width: 1.2 cm

– Pack quantity: 25 metres

– Feature: Stretch

– Use: Edge elastic for finishes

Yellow fold-over elastic is often used as a colour pop in collections where edges and finishes are meant to be visible. It is relevant for lingerie, sportswear, lightweight tops and underwear where you want a narrow, functional edge. The elastic can also be used in kidswear and accessories when the finish needs to be elastic without adding bulk.

The pack format makes it practical for day-to-day operations. 25 metres is easy to handle in stock and easy to allocate to fixed patterns when you run repeat reorders. The picot edge helps fold the elastic evenly around the raw edge, giving a consistent result across production runs.

Fabric shops and smaller manufacturers often buy fold-over elastic as a supplement to fabrics by the metre so they can offer both fabric and accessories in one place. This is an advantage if you buy fabric wholesale and want to consolidate purchasing and delivery. Multiple colours in the same type also make it easier to offer coordinated solutions to your customers.

Washing and care depend on the fabric the elastic is sewn onto. Always test stitching, stretch and heat on a sample before starting a larger batch.

Combine with matching cotton jersey or rib jersey for stretch styles, and start with an overview in Solid colour cotton jersey.
