Fold-over elastic with picot edge – Orange is fold-over elastic with picot edge made of 85% polyamide, 10% polyester and 5% lycra, 1.2 cm wide.

Specifications:

– Material: 85% polyamide, 10% polyester, 5% lycra

– Width: 1.2 cm

– Pack size: 25 metres

– Property: Stretch

– Type: Fold-over elastic with picot edge

Orange creates a clear contrast edge and is often used when you want a graphic look on otherwise solid colour materials. Fold-over elastic with picot edge is a practical choice for edging underwear, tops, sports tops without heavy compression, and lightweight shorts. The colour can also be used as a marker on baby and children’s clothing, where the edge needs to follow movement.

The polyamide base provides a hard-wearing elastic that keeps its resilience in daily use. The lycra content adds stretch and recovery, so the edge works with the material and gives a more stable finish. The picot edge makes it easier to keep the fold consistent all the way around, reducing variation during stitching.

Smaller producers and fabric shops typically buy elastics in standard colours to reorder quickly when a style is running. If you are searching for buy fabric wholesale, it can be an advantage to consolidate accessories and fabrics by the metre in the same shipment to minimise picking and freight. The 25-metre pack makes stock and consumption easy to manage.

Wash at 30 degrees. Avoid tumble drying finished items with elastic, as repeated heat can affect elasticity.
