Fold-over elastic with picot edge – Petrol is fold-over elastic with picot edge in 85% polyamide, 10% polyester and 5% lycra, 1.2 cm wide.

Specifications:

– Material: 85% polyamide, 10% polyester, 5% lycra

– Width: 1.2 cm

– Pack size: 25 metres

– Feature: Stretch

– Type: Fold-over elastic with picot edge

Petrol is a deep, cool shade that is often used with dark core colours or as a contrast to light materials. Fold-over elastic with picot edge is typically used for finishes where you want an elastic edge with a neat fold. It is often seen on underwear, tops, lightweight shorts and as binding on baby and childrenswear, where a soft and durable finish is important.

The colour choice makes it possible to keep a range consistent across collections without committing to seasonal tones. Polyamide provides a robust elastic, and lycra gives good recovery so the edge keeps its spring in use. The picot edge helps guide the fold and delivers a more uniform seam, especially around curves.

Fabric shops and professional buyers often add elastics as add-on sales to jersey and rib jersey, because customers request matching finishing materials. Searches like fabric wholesale Germany and fabric wholesale Denmark typically show that lead time and stock availability matter a lot. At Jydsk Stoflager, you can consolidate the order and plan reorders based on 25-metre packs.

Wash at 30 degrees. Avoid tumble drying finished items with elastic to preserve elasticity as long as possible.

See the full range in Fold-over elastic with picot edge, and combine with items from Rib jersey for stable edges in the same colour palette.
