Elastic with Silver Lurex – 40mm – Black is a stretch elastic made of 75% polyamide, 20% lurex and 5% lycra, 4 cm wide.

Specifications:

– Material: 75% polyamide, 20% lurex, 5% lycra

– Width: 4 cm

– Pack quantity: 25 metres

– Property: Stretch

– Colour: Black with silver lurex

Black elastic with silver lurex is often used when you want a functional waistband with a subtle metallic look. The 40 mm width suits waistbands for trousers and skirts, finishing edges on cardigans and lightweight jackets, as well as sportswear and stagewear where a defined edge is part of the design. The lurex thread adds a shimmer to the surface without changing the elastic’s core function.

Stretch and stability are key when elastic needs to perform in garments. Polyamide provides a durable base, and lycra contributes controlled recovery. The result is an elastic that keeps its shape in use and delivers a more consistent fit in serial production.

Fabric shops and smaller clothing manufacturers often choose lurex elastic as a trim for collections with metallic details. As a supplier in Denmark, we offer fast shipping from stock, and many buyers also search broadly for fabric wholesale Denmark and fabric wholesale suppliers when they bundle both fabric by the metre and trims.

Wash gently at low temperature. Avoid tumble drying so the elasticity and lurex look lasts wash after wash.
