Fold-over elastic with picot edge in sun yellow is fold-over elastic in 85% polyamide, 10% polyester and 5% lycra, 1.2 cm wide.

Specifications: Fold-over elastic with picot edge is often used for edges on underwear, sports tops, bodysuits and lightweight accessories where you want a controlled fold and a consistent look. Sun yellow works as a bright detail colour that can be used in both kids ranges and as a contrast in simpler core programmes.

The picot edge makes it easier to keep the elastic straight while sewing. This gives a stable edge width and a more consistent result for repeated runs in production. High stretch provides good freedom of movement in finished edges, and the polyamide blend contributes a smooth surface that looks clean even when the elastic is visible.

Colour fastness 4-5 is relevant when the elastic is used in items that are washed frequently. You can typically expect the colour to hold well from wash to wash with normal care and without unnecessary high heat.

Fabric shops and smaller manufacturers choose this type of fold-over elastic as part of a standard range because the same quality is available in multiple colours. 100-metre packs make purchasing and stock control more manageable when you want to secure the same shade across a series.

Typically wash at 30-40 degrees. Avoid high heat in the tumble dryer to preserve elasticity.

Supplement with other accessory types from Solid colour elastic for waistbands and gathering.

Order from 10m – delivery 1–3 business days in Scandinavia
