Lavender bamboo jersey is often used for T-shirts, tops, dresses and leggings when you want a solid colour fabric with beautiful drape and a soft hand feel. The shade is suitable for both children’s ranges and womenswear and menswear where the colour should create a calm expression without feeling heavy.

Bamboo jersey drapes nicely and lies smoothly in finished garments. This makes it relevant for styles with gathers, A-line shapes or simple cuts where the surface needs to look clean. Many buyers ask what the difference is between bamboo jersey and cotton jersey in use. Bamboo typically feels smoother and with a more fluid drape, while the lycra content helps the garment keep its shape from wash to wash.

This quality is often ordered by fabric shops that want a stable basic item in colours that can be reordered. Smaller manufacturers also choose it for capsule collections where colours must match without shade differences from delivery to delivery.

Wash at 30 degrees and preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to protect the surface.
