Denim-blue bamboo jersey fabric is often used for T-shirts, tops, leggings and dresses when you want a soft touch and an even colour surface. The 240 g/m² weight adds a bit more substance than a lightweight summer jersey, so the quality also works well for core styles that need to keep their shape in wear.

Bamboo fibre provides a smooth surface and a comfortable hand feel, and the lycra contributes stable stretch and good freedom of movement. Many ask whether bamboo jersey shrinks in the wash. Shrinkage depends on the process and washing, so a short pre-wash of a sample is a practical way to secure measurements in production.

This quality is typically ordered by fabric shops that want a solid-colour bamboo range, as well as smaller manufacturers looking for a stable fabric for repeat reorders. The colour is delivered consistently from roll to roll, making it easier to plan a colour programme and replenishment. Stock handled in Ikast ensures fast processing during busy periods.

Wash at 30 degrees and turn inside out. Avoid tumble drying. Preferably use mild detergent and avoid unnecessarily high spin speeds to keep the surface looking neat.
