1. You order by weight alone — without checking width and composition<\/h2>\n

Gram weight is one parameter. But a fabric at 220 g\/m\u00b2 with a width of 160 cm yields a completely different material output than a fabric of the same weight at 150 cm width. The difference is 6.25 percent more fabric per running meter — and that impacts production economics over a larger order.<\/p>\n

The fiber composition is at least as important. 95% cotton + 5% lycra provides different elasticity and shape retention than 100% cotton.
