Tulle – Baby Blue

Description

Tulle baby blue is a lightweight mesh fabric in 100% polyester with a 3.5 mm mesh width and 150 cm wide. The weight is approx. 25 g/m² — making it ultra-light to work with in layered constructions. The colour is a stable light blue, consistent roll to roll without shade variation.

Tulle baby blue is used for overlays and underskirts on bridal gowns and bridal sets, for ballet dresses and dance leotards with ruffles, for layers and overlays on communion dresses and formal occasion dresses, and for decorative applications on children’s dresses and girls’ party wear. The light blue coordinates with white, silver and ivory in bridal and occasion assortments.

The mesh structure maintains its openness during machine sewing — the needle passes through the mesh cells and does not displace the fabric layer. This eliminates the need for reinforcing tape in seams and significantly reduces sewing time in layered constructions with multiple tulle tiers.

Costume makers, bridal gown suppliers and fashion houses order tulle baby blue for seasonal bridal and occasion collections and for stage productions. Wash: Hand wash or gentle machine cycle at 30 degrees. Do not iron directly — use a steam iron at low heat with a cloth in between to avoid melting polyester fibres and distorting the mesh.
