Dark grey melange is circular knitted rib knit fabric made of 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 230 g/m² and 70–75 cm wide.

The dark melange grey-brown color delivers a clean and robust expression — perfect for darker designs or as contrast to lighter jersey colors. Melange is consistent from roll to roll without visible color shifts, ensuring consistency throughout production.

Used for rib cuffs, necklines, and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, hoods, bodystockings, jackets, and children’s wear. Circular knitted rib in tubular (double woven tube) form provides a thin, elastic edge with high shape stability after washing — ideal for necklines on active children’s clothing, where the rib must endure frequent washing without wearing out or deforming. The 230 g/m² density gives a sufficiently durable and functional edge without feeling heavy.

The rib fabric is ordered by clothing manufacturers, fabric stores, and hobby seamstresses working with jersey from light to medium weight.
